The philosophy of WANSecurity, Inc. is based on the following:
The Network infrastructure is the most valuable asset to any modern business. Network managers face the necessity to attend to this network, providing timely and adequate responses to issues, upgrades, and keep these in budget. This is becoming increasingly difficult.
Network management is a science, which can be captured and encapsulated in the form of a utility. While 99% of the people who drive and operate cars know little about how they work, likewise there is no reason for a qualified systems or network engineer to do a corporations network monitoring, whereas this can be done by a junior network administrator trained to use the Nexus Director system.
Traditional network monitoring systems are extremely complex, expensive; require a lot of training, and an extensive technical background. All of this complexity and expense has been packaged into a simple user interface allowing a network admin to watch the network and take action on alerts and notifications.
