DiscoverTheOutdoors Site Launch
The WANSecurity team is pleased to announce the much anticipated release of the newly remodeled site DiscoverTheOutdoors aka DTO. Due to unfortunate circumstances the original CMS and Management system for the DTO Site were lost in an array failure. We've worked very hard to completely reverse engineer the application and redesign the back-end CMS of this multi-million dollar site. As part of the project we've also given the site a Web 2.0 face-lift in a feature-rich presentation. We hope you enjoy the new DTO 2.0

Nexus Director 64bit
Nexus director is now 100% 64bit enabled! All components of the Nexus Director suite compile 64bit clean and testing is complete. All Nexus Director 9 subscription customers are entitled to a free upgrade. Nexus Director 9 subscribers will be required to upgrade to Nexus Director 9.2 in order to use this release. Please login to your support portal for the change list for Nexus Director 9.

WANSecurity welcomes DTO at www.dto.com. We’ve just won the contract to recode and redesign the existing site. We’ve completed numerous other projects for them including an implementation of the WANSecurity Super Mail Server v7.

This is a major release and includes an update of the Nagios core engine to version 2.9. Includes a new performance data daemon which greatly reduces the resource load on NDMonitor. Introduces the integration of Nexus Discovery based on NeDi and Nexus Weather based on Network Weathermap. Free major version upgrade for Gold and Diamond subscription customers.

We are very pleased to announce a joint venture between WANSecurity, Inc. and our newest partner Logical eXtensionS, Inc. L-XS is a global IT firm that provides software engineering services to clients in North America and Asia Proper. L-XS will handle the project management for all of our software engineering projects going forward. Today we release Nexus Director v8.1 as open source. Sources available via subversion to registered developers. A full appliance image is available for download in both Xen and VMware paravirtual machine formats.
